Stipend, Scholarship and Tuition Fee Concession

 

                  SC/ST and OBC category of students are eligible for Government stipend.  Application forms are made available to students from college office as and when they are received from the Government Office at the commencement of the academic session.

 

                  General category students with high marks obtained in the previous examination can apply for Merit Stipend to the DPI, Government of West Bengal.

 

                  At the college level concession in tuition fees is considered on merit-basis generally for those students who do not enjoy financial support from any other quarter.  There is also provision for assistance to the needy students from Students’ Aid Fund.

Students’ Health Home

 

                  The college is the associated member of the “Students’ Health Home”, Kolkata. Students can take advantage of highly qualified doctors’ advice and medicine in times of their illness through this organization. Recently these facilities are made available even in ‘Amta’, Howrah.

Health Club and Yoga & Physio-Therapy Centre

 

                          The college  has started a weekly health-club where a doctor renders voluntary service once   a week . Yoga Camp, Physio-therapy centre works under the able guidance of an   instructor from Kolkata.
